The TP9 platform traces its lineage back to the MP9, a compact system originally developed for professional users who needed controllable firepower in extremely confined spaces.

B&T carried that design forward into the civilian market while maintaining the compact dimensions and distinctive layout that made the platform so recognizable.

In the short barrel rifle configuration, the TP9 becomes a remarkably balanced system. The folding stock adds stability without adding unnecessary bulk, allowing the platform to remain compact while dramatically improving controllability.

The 5.1 inch barrel keeps the rifle short and maneuverable while still delivering the smooth cycling and reliability the platform is known for. Fully ambidextrous controls and the tri lug muzzle interface make the system easy to operate and quick to configure.
