Stuff and Things The C.A.R.L. for AR-15 Super Safeties – 2, 3, and 6 Round Options

The C.A.R.L., or Cam Activated Reset Limiter, is a drop-in, patent pending system for existing AR-15 Super Safety setups that requires no permanent modification to install. Designed to extend trigger release after every third round fired, The C.A.R.L. changes the reset cycle to help slow user cadence, allowing more time for target re-acquisition and better control over follow-up shots.

Built for use with standard mil-spec triggers and Hoffman Tactical-style AR-15 Super Safeties, The C.A.R.L. also works with original Super Safety designs, including the Hoffman Tactical push-button style. It is not a Super Safety by itself and it is not a forced reset trigger. The C.A.R.L. functions only when used in conjunction with a compatible Super Safety system. When installed with a mil-spec, non-Super Safety trigger, The C.A.R.L. still functions normally.

For users who want a different reset cycle, optional 2-round,  3-round, and 6-round limiter cams are available separately.

Round Options:

• 2-Round – Shorter reset cycle with an extended trigger release required after 2-rounds
• 3-Round – Standard reset cycle with an extended trigger release required after 3-rounds
• 6-Round – Longer reset cycle with an extended trigger release required after 6-rounds

Please Note:

• Does not include a Super Safety
• Designed for AR-15 Super Safety setups
• Compatible with standard mil-spec triggers and Hoffman Tactical-style Super Safeties
• Works with original Hoffman Tactical push-button Super Safety designs
• Not compatible with RareBreed FRTs
• Not compatible or functional with full-auto trigger components
• Installation should be performed by a licensed and competent gunsmith
